Arun Babu is the founder, chairman, CEO and chief products architect at Vasana Technologies, overseeing all product development, engineering, design and operation of the company's products and services. He is responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for the company and also leads design of its core technology and infrastructure. Before starting out, he got his bachelor's degree in computer science. Still, he considers himself first and formost a self-learned individual and is still pursuing new knowledge in various related domains. From an early age itself he had developed an interest in technology and entrepreneurship, along with a strong drive to accomplish things and make his mark on the world. His interest in solving problems led him to look for enablers and found computer science and the internet as the keys to realizing his goals. He became concerned after discovering that his country lacked in key areas and made indigenisation one of the core focuses of the company. Indigenisation took such a strong root within the company that it even inspired the company's name. Previously, he made over 150 apps in various categories for millions of consumers all over the world, a development framework for mobile app development and some web solutions.
